Meet Our President

Kareith Dyce is Senior in Software Engineering from Atlanta, Georgia. He hopes to take the Auburn Chapter to the next level by with his F.A.R. plan. The F is for increasing the freshman involvement with NSBE, the A for keeping the Executive Board accountable for their promises and the R for retention of its members.


Fun Fact: Kareith was the first in his family to learn how to swim.

Meet Our Vice President

 Keimon Jefferson is a junior in Mechanical Engineering and a transfer student from Clark Atlanta University, who is involved in the dual degree program. He is from Albany, Ga. He is the right hand of President Kareith Dyce and comes up with wonderful ideas for our NSBE meetings. His ultimate goal is to create a company who creates affordable prosthetics and orthotics through additive manufacturing that's personalized to the user.

Meet Our Secretary

Adia Foster is a Sophomore studying Software Engineering. She is a Montgomery, AL native looking to pursue a career in creating software for healthcare professionals and patients. As Secretary, I will work to improve our outreach and communication with members, prospective members, and our alumni.

Meet Our Treasurer

Kahlil Jackson is an upcoming Senior; my major is Software Engineering and currently the Director and apart of BSU’s

E2 Committee. I am 21 years old, my birthday is October 2nd. I was born in Portsmouth VA, on a Navy Base.

I went to Jacksonville High School, in Jacksonville, AL; graduated with Honors.

My goal is to make sure NSBE has adequate funding for all events and to be able to make sure our events have the appropriate resources. 


Fun Facts: I enjoy watching videos on the latest technology, such as tech reviews, how to do videos and many more in my spare time. I’ve also won best dressed at some of our events as well, so you all have some competition!

I also love to dress! Remember when someone looks at you, they look at your image and how you present it to them.

Meet Our Parliamentarian

My name is Brittany Ransom, I am from Huntsville, Alabama, and I am a Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering. My goals include traveling the world and becoming a Design Engineer. As your Parliamentarian, I plan to effectively carry out the laws of our chapter so that order, function, and excellence can characterize each meeting.

Meet Our Membership Chair

Derrick Austin is from a small town, Gadsden, AL which is about 45 minutes north east of Birmingham, AL. He is a recent graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, a small yet impactful liberal arts college, where he majored in Mathematics and was deeply involved in the campus community. This Fall ‘19 semester will mark his second year of study at Auburn University where he has chosen to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Engineering Technology. As always, he is looking forward to having a great semester academically and the opportunity to foster relations both new and old in “The Loveliest Village on The Plains” and beyond!

Meet Our Programs Chair

Jailin D. Sanders is a Junior from Bessemer, AL pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Business & Engineering Technology. He is very involved on Auburn University's campus serving as a Resident Assistant in Cambridge Residence Hall, a member in Alabama Power's Academic Excellence Program, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and the Student Alumni Association. Aside from being the Programs Chair, he also serves as the Vice President of Programs in the Black Student Union. With his position this year, he would like to improve past events and activities so that we can maximize our guests' experiences. He intends to build off of the foundation laid before him so that everyone  will have the opportunity to grow and become better leaders.

Fun Facts: Jailin's favorite color is green and he loves 90's culture, especially the music.

Meet Our Academic Excellence Chair

Langston Williams is a 5th year Ph.D student from Atlanta, Ga studying Aerospace Engineering. Langston played football at Lenoir-Rhyne Unversity while pursuing his Mathematics degree. He graduated in 2015 and received the "2015 Best Mathematician Award" at Lenoir-Rhyne University. In 2015, Langston began studying Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University. Two years later, he was presented the Abe Zarem Award, which recognizes distinguished achievement in Astronautics. In 2019, he received the "Graduate Student of the Year Award" from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Langston enjoys teaching math and engineering sciences to students as well playing football, soccer, and baseball. He is looking forward to help bringing a NSBE Jr. chapter to Auburn, improve AUNSBE member's overall GPA, and getting more students involved in academics and research.

Meet Our TORCH Chair

Jordyn Crosby is from Montgomery, Al. She is majoring in Business Administration. She has formed many great relationships with members of NSBE and is excited to serve, alongside her peers, on the Eboard. As TORCH chair, she will work to ensure that the Auburn chapter of NSBE is uplifting the community through various service and outreach projects. She looks forward to upholding the mission statement of NSBE!

Erin Young is a Junior in Chemical Engineering from Mobile, AL. I spent this summer interning with Georgia-Pacific in Foley, Fl. It was a great experience to actually gain hands on experience in my field of study. My favorite color is lavender and I have been a vegetarian for almost a year!

Davonte' Richmond is a Senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering from Madison, AL. He also serves as an ambassador for the Academic Excellence Program or AEP for short. He is also a Co-Op student having completed all three of his working rotations.

Fun Fact : Davonte' has a huge passion for cars and likes to study and work on them in his spare time.

Goals: Attending every single conference with passion and enthusiam! Also, Graduating with a Bachelor's Degreee in Mechanical Engineering and landing a job working somewhere interesting with benefits.

Bruce Ellis is a Senior majoring in Computer Engineering from Madison, AL. He also serves as a facillitator for the Academic Excellence Program (AEP). He has completed all three working rotations with Mercedes Benz US International Inc. in Vance, AL and has interned with The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL. 

Fun Fact : Bruce watched the complete series of The Office at least ten times!

Goals: For the time being, Bruce aspires to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
